Frederick Green St. John 

Frederick Green St. John was born 1815 in Georgia. He married in 1835 to Jane Gilbert Wood and died 1902 in Putnam County, Tennessee. His Children were William, Sarah Roxanna (who married an Edwards), Thomas G, John Wood St. John. His son John Wood St. John married Martha Jane Espy. Their children were, Naola Leigh, John Wood, Randolph, Fred, James Frederick, Pearl, Norvella, Octavia, Earl and Claudia. Naola Leigh St. John married James Cooper. Their daughter Naola Ruth, is the lady who gave us these pictures and information.

Frederick Green St. John was the son of John St. John and Susan Dickens. John St. John was the son of George and Evaline Jolly St. John.

The common ancestor of Lassister Neale Clifton and Frederick Green St. John is George St. John of Virginia

Henry Jefferson St. John was born in 1831 in Cannon County, Tennessee. He married Buena Vista Stone September 11, 1867 in Woodbury, Cannon County, Tennesee. They had no children.

Henry Jefferson St. John joined the Confederate Army in May 23, 1861. He organized and mustered into the provisional army, Company D, 18th Tennessee Regiment at Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee.

Henry Jefferson's father John St. John was the son of George St. John of Cannon County, Tennessee.

The common ancestor of Lassister Neale Clifton and Henry Jefferson St. John is George St. John.of Virginia.
