The Andrew
Lindamood Cemetery is located on a
bank beside Route 709, north of Route 711, and is on private property.
There is no entrance from the road as far as we could
discern. We obtained permission to
visit the grounds by a member of the Bauserman family.
Lydia Lindamood 18 Oct 1812 - 26 Nov 1878 66 yrs 1 mo 8 days Additional burials in the Lindamood Cemetery Christena Lindamood Born 13 Feb 1818 ------ Jonathan Lindamood Born 30 Oct 1821 - Died January 1864 (husband of Rebecca Rinker Lindamood) ---- The original owner of this land was Andreas Lindemuth. who owned 456 acres. His wife was Maria Christina Reinhard. He is buried in this cemetery. Andreas was the son of Georg Lindemuth and Maria Anna Drach. Andrew Lindemuth, Jr and Rosina Foltz were the parents of George A. (Lindemuth) Lindamood. Andrew Lindamood Jr. his wife and all their children are buried in the Lindamood Cemetery except Isaac who is buried in Zions Church Cemetery. |
