If coming from Russell County on Route 19, turn right on Route 700.  If coming from Abingdon, turn left on Route 700. 
Above is the Route 700 approach to Garrett Cemetery as viewed from the site of George Kesner's graveside in the East Section. 
The cemetery is on a hill,  overlooking Route 700. Street address: 16463 Rich Valley Road.  
When coming from Route 19, the cemetery will be on the right side.

There are numerous ground stone markers here. Among them in this section (above) are possibly the  gravesites of James E. Clifton's father , Elias C. Clifton and mother, Barbara Ann Mitchell Clifton. James E. and his first wife, Susan Carrie Privett Clifton, are also interred in this cemetery.
