Neale's Cooks

John Cook  was born in London England.  He married Elizabeth Gurney about 1749 in Westminister, London, England.  There children were: John born 1752, Thomas, William and James.

John Cook born 28 June 1752 in Westminister, London, England.  He married Nellie Goodall Pemberton, she was born in Scotland.  They had two sons William born 1784 and Thomas born 1776.  John died 21 November 1832 in Oceana, Wyoming County, Virginia.  Nellie died 1812 in Wyoming County, VA. 

William Cook was born 07 June 1764 in Shenandoah County, Virginia.  He married Catharine Stewart in Virginia.  Catharine was born 15 June 1790 in Giles County, Virginia.  There children were: Pemberton born 1807, John L. born 1810, James born 1813, William Newton born 1814, Mitchel born 1817, Thomas M. born 1819, Floyd born 1820, Richard M. born 1822, Elliott born 1823, George Pearce born 1826, Nellie born 1828, Lucinda born 1829 and Juliann born 1832.  William died 10 August 1853 in Wyoming County, VA and Catharine died 26 May 1888 in Wyoming Co., West Virginia. 

William Newton Cook was born 14 March 1814 and married Frances Craig Pinnell 10 May 1835 in Logan County, Virginia.  Frances was born 02 February 1813 she was the daughter of Wesley Pinnell and Phoebe Lineager.  There children were: Julianna born 1836, Henry F. born 1837, Rebecca Jane born 1838, Burwell Matison born 1840, Leondias born 1842, Freeling 1844, William H. born 1845, Pheobe born 1849, Nellie born 1851, Mary Frances born 1855, Amanda born 1857 and Andrew born 1859.  William died 21 June 1862 and Frances died 04 May 1884 in Muskegeon, Michigan.

Rebecca Jane Cook was born 10 November 1838 in Logan County, Virginia.  She was the first wife of  Enoch Berry Wills.  They married 09 May 1855, in Wyoming County, Virginia.  Their children were: William born 1856,  Mary Frances born 05 October 1856, Victoria born 12 July 1858 and Stephen born 1864.   Enoch Berry died 24 September 1900 Turkey Creek, Wyoming County, West Virginia.
