| Above, see two instances in which Capt. L. ? Jennings of a detachment of the 12th Tenn. Cavalry signed notes indicating he gave corn and other aid during the month of April, 1865. The North Carolina and Tennessee state lines were not far from where he lived in Washington County, VA. |
