William Mullins died 2 September 1734, Hanover County, St. Martin's Parish,Virginia. William appears in King William County, Virginia, Virginia Record Book 2, page 4, in 1721. Kathryn Smyth was born between 1682-1700 Hanover County, Virginia and died about 1734 in Hanover County, Virginia.

was born about 1720 in Virginia, he married Elizabeth ___, born about. 1725 in Virginia.  William died about 1791 in Franklin County, Virginia.  William and Elizabeth's children are:

  • ?Male Mullins born about 1804 in Burke County, North Carolina

  • Letty Mullins born 1827 in Pike County, Kentucky
  • Nancy Mullins born about 1823 in Pike County, Kentucky. 
William "Chunky Bill" Mullins born 1796 in North Carolina. He married 06 June 1792 Temperance Blayblock daughter of John Blayblock of Dee River, North Carolina and was a soldier in the Revolutionary War.  "Chunky Bill" and Temperance's were the parents of:
  • John S. Mullins
John S. Mullins was born 1810 in Burke, North Carolina and died in 1890 in Wyoming County, West Virginia.  He was a reverend and in the court records there are lots of young folks he married.  He was married on 1 September 1830, in Pike County, Kentucky, to Ollie Short, a daughter of Benjamin Short and Elizabeth Stanley,who was the daughter of Joseph Stanley and his second wife, Sarah Kitchen
Benjamin was the son of William Short and Elizabeth Bolling
William Short and Elizabeth Bolling are at rest in Ben Bolling Cemetery.

Elizabeth Mullins
was born 1843 in Pike County, Kentucky and married Hiram Clay 21 July 1863 in Wyoming County, West Virginia.  Hiram was the son of Henry J. Clay and Mary (Polly) Anderson.  Hiram died 24 August 1892 at Rock Castle, Wyoming County, West Virginia. He served the CSA in the Virginia 22nd Infantry Regiment.   Elizabeth and Hiram's children are:  Gordon M. Clay; Caz Clay; Levi Martin Clay; Emily Clay; John Will Clay; Albert Harrison Clay; James H. Clay; George W. Clay; Mary Clay; Andrew J. Clay; Benjamin Harvey Clay; and Lucy Alice Clay.

Lucy Alice Clay
was born 15 August 1882 in Pineville, Wyoming County, West Virginia and died 23 December 1960 in Portsmouth, Virginia.  Lucy married William Thomas Farley, born 9 March 1879 in Pineville, Wyoming County, West Virginia, William died  10 March 1965 in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Lucy and Tom Farley had three girls: Volga, Glattrus and Edowa.
Lucy Alice Clay and William Thomas Farley are at rest in Olive Branch Cemetery.

Volga Farley
was born 16 June 1915 in Welch, McDowell County, West Virginia.  She died 6 November 1965 in Portsmouth, Virginia. Volga married Buford Clifton, born 24 May 1913 in Greendale, Washington County, Virginia. They had one son: Lassister Neale Clifton.
Buford and Volga Farley Clifton are at rest in Olive Branch Cemetery.

Lassister Neale Clifton
was born  in Welch, McDowell County, West Virginia.  He  married Katherine Carol Williams, born  in Orlando, Orange County, Florida.  Neale and Kathy have two children: and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
