  Mantles
Mantles were popular from 1856 to 1864.  They were decorative as well as useful.  Sometimes they were made of the same fabric as the dresses they covered.  Summer mantles were made of lighter weight fabric and laces.  They could be trimmed with lace or fringe.  In winter they were made of heavier weight material and lined as well.  The ones I have here are summer weight and lined in summer weight material.  I can make any colors you desire, with either the lace or the edging.
