Confederate States of America - 1st National Flag 1st Virginia Cavalier Cantinieres, Virginia Division, United Daughters of the Confederacy 1st Virginia Cavalier Cantinieres Hat

In November 1995, Mrs. Mark R. (Juanita) Allen, Virginia Division President, United Daughters of the Confederacy, asked the  Norfolk County Grays Chapter #2535, Chesapeake, Virginia if they would form a group of Cantinieres to assist at functions for The United Daughters of the Confederacy, Virginia Division.  At the current time (2005), we have members from the Norfolk County Grays-Niemeyer Shaw Chapter, Hampton Chapter, Fredericksburg Chapter, General J E B Stuart Chapter and Turner Ashby No. 184 Chapter.  We also have twomembers from the Elizabeth Curtis Wallace Chapter, Children of The Confederacy.
